Call Return

Did you miss a call or are you trying to reach someone and their line is busy? Call Return will monitor it for 30 minutes and notify you when the line is free.


Instructions:

Lift the handset and listen for dial tone.

For calls you miss (inbound), use Automatic Recall:

Simply enter * 69 on your phone (or 1169 on a rotary phone) to redial the number of the last caller. If the number called is busy, you will hear a message telling you the line is busy. Call Return will monitor the line for 30 minutes. Once the number is free, Call Return will automatically redial the number for you and notify you with a special (2 short, 1 long) ringtone.

To cancel the Automatic Recall

Pick up the handset and enter * 89 (or 1189 on a rotary phone).
For outbound calls you make that result in a busy signal, use Automatic Call Back: Simply enter “* 66″ on your phone (or 1166 on a rotary phone) Call Return will monitor the line for 30 minutes. Once the number is free, Call Return will automatically redial the number for you and notify you with a special (2 short, 1 long) ringtone.

To cancel the Automatic Call Back

Pick up the handset and enter * 86 (or 1186 on a rotary phone).
Call Return works with most direct-dialed calls from most areas. However, there are scenarios where Call Return cannot return a call, including;

Calls placed from certain phones using Call Blocking features such as some business lines, payphones, cellular phones, long-distance connections, or from calls placed through an Operator.
