Call Screen

Are you tired of all those unwanted callers at what seems to be the most inconvenient times? KMTS Call Screen will re-route unwelcome calls. When unwanted callers dial your number, an announcement will inform the caller that you are not accepting calls without your telephone ringing. You can program up to 12 numbers. All others calls will ring through as usual.


To activate or de-activate, lift the handset and listen for dial-tone, then,

Dial “* 60″ (rotary phones dial 1160)
A recorded announcement will tell you how many numbers are stored in your rejection list and whether this feature is turned “ON” or “OFF”
Follow the voice instructions; press 3 to turn feature “ON” (if it’s currently off) or “OFF” (if it’s currently on)


To add the last caller to your rejection list:

Dial “* 60″ (or 1160 from rotary phone)
Dial “# 01 #” (or 1201 from rotary phone)
Hang up


To add a number to your rejection list:

Dial “* 60″ (or 1160 from rotary phone)
Dial “#” (or 12 from rotary phone)
Follow the voice instructions, you can store up to 12 numbers
Hang up


To hear the numbers in your Call Screen list:

Dial “* 60″ (or 1160 from rotary phone)
Dial “1″ and the list will be played followed by voice instructions
Hang up


To remove a number from your rejection list:

Dial “* 60″ (or 1160 from rotary phone)
Dial “*” (or 11 from rotary phone)
Follow the voice instructions to remove any or all numbers from your list.
Hang up


To hear the instructions:

Pick up the handset and listen for dial tone
Enter “* 60 *”(or 1160 from rotary phone)
Dial “0″. Voice prompts will guide you through the various Call Screen features.
Hang up.


NOTE:
Call Screen works with direct-dialed calls from most areas but will not screen out “Unknown Numbers”. Your Call Screen list is separate and distinct from the other lists you use with other calling features
