Kenora Murmur Project

MURMUR is a documentary project that collects and makes available stories and personal memories set in specific locations in Kenora and Keewatin.  At each of these locations, a green MURMUR sign with a telephone number and six-digit location code marks where these stories are available. By using one’s mobile phone to call the number one is able to listen to the stories. MURMUR Kenora was the result of a partnership between KMTS, Tourism Kenora, 89.5 Mix FM, the LOW Museum, the Ministry of Culture, and the Lake of the Woods Business Incentive Corporation. Without the technical support of KMTS, this project would not have been possible.
