Common Ground: Sharing Community Stories

“Common Ground is an annual day-long storytelling event featuring stories of Kenora and the Lake of the Woods area. Many people have come to this area, settled here, and lived out their life. Each has a unique perspective and experience, but all share one important thing – a relationship to this remarkable land. The stories tell of that relationship with the land and with each other in this place. This event is dependent upon the generosity of local businesses like KMTS who have supported it yearly. Their sponsorship ensures the continued success of it and makes it affordable for anyone wishing to attend.
